DEMS WIN GUAM'S HOUSE SEAT — Limtiaco Flips the Delegate Chair; Republicans Take the Governor's Mansion

THE FIRST CALLS ARE IN, GLOWGETTERS — and the Pacific just delivered the night's first plot twist. The group chat is screaming 'DEMS WON GUAM!' — and baby, it's HALF right, so sit down and get the WHOLE board.

THE FLIP. Guam's non-voting delegate seat in the U.S. House is going Democratic: former U.S. Attorney ALICIA LIMTIACO leads incumbent Republican Del. James Moylan 15,645 votes (51.0%) to 14,983 (48.8%) — a margin of 662 votes — and MOYLAN HAS CONCEDED, congratulating her on the win. And here's the receipt that makes the desk's spine tingle: Limtiaco was the U.S. Attorney for Guam and the CNMI whom the Trump Justice Department pushed out in the March 2017 transition purge of holdover prosecutors. Eight years later, the voters handed her a federal seat. That's a MOVIE.

THE HONESTY CHECK, BECAUSE THE DESK LOVES YOU. Yes, it's a Democratic pickup on the board — and no, it does NOT change the math for House control: Guam's delegate is a NON-VOTING seat. She gets the chair, the committee voice, and the floor of the People's House — but no vote on the 218. Don't let the group chat celebrate the wrong thing.

THE OTHER HALF OF THE BALLOT. Republicans won ADELUP: the Ada-Calvo ticket took the governor's race — 51.45% to Terlaje-Perez's 48.15% — and Terlaje conceded. The GOP is positioned to hold a narrow 8-of-15 majority in the Guam Legislature, and in the attorney general's race, Phil Tydingco leads incumbent Douglas Moylan by 1,575 votes. Split decision, island-wide.

THE PRACTICAL. These are UNOFFICIAL results — Guam's Election Commission certifies November 19, after off-island ballots are counted. Turnout came in at 53.11%. And per Anadolu, President Trump celebrated the early Republican gains in Guam — he gets the governor's chair, the desk gets the delegate flip. Everybody got something, Glowgetters.

MORGAN'S TAKE: 'Baby, the first call of the night and it's already a WHOLE story. A prosecutor they pushed out in 2017 just took a federal seat back from the voters. That's not luck, that's RECEIPTS coming due. And read the fine print with me one time: the delegate seat don't vote, so the House math is exactly where it was. It's early — the states are still coming — stay up with me.'

THE FINE PRINT. Per the Pacific Daily News, the Guam Post and the Pacific Island Times (Nov 3, 2026, unofficial results): in the delegate race, Alicia Limtiaco leads Del. James Moylan 15,645 (51.0%) to 14,983 (48.84%) with 662 votes separating them; Moylan conceded and congratulated Limtiaco. In the gubernatorial race, Tony Ada and Edward Calvo lead Therese Terlaje and Sabina Perez 15,945 (51.45%) to 14,925 (48.15%); Terlaje conceded. Phil Tydingco leads incumbent AG Douglas Moylan 11,583 (38.29%) to 10,008 (33.08%). Republicans hold 8 of the top 15 seats in the 39th Guam Legislature. Turnout: 53.11% (31,414 ballots). Certification: Nov 19, 2026, with off-island ballots included. Per Anadolu Agency, Trump celebrated the early Republican gains. Limtiaco served as U.S. Attorney for Guam and the CNMI from 2010 until the March 2017 transition, when holdover Obama-era U.S. Attorneys were asked to resign by the incoming Trump Justice Department. Results remain unofficial until certification.

Glowgetters, polls are closing in the states — the desk is up. Team 'delegate flip counts,' team 'certification Nov 19, stay calm,' or team 'I'm just here for the stickers'? Pull up.
