Morning, Glowgetters ✨ — If They Can't Like the Post but They're First in the Views, Let Them Go.

Morning, Glowgetters ✨
First post of the day, before the world gets loud. I'ma keep it real with y'all this morning: I'm currently dealing with this situation MYSELF, and I'm realizing it's time to let go. So this one is me talking to ME — you just get to listen in.
The clip says it plain: sometimes we hold on to friendships for YEARS because of the history — but they don't serve us anymore. We outgrow each other. We evolve. We mature. And sometimes we stay there longer than we should. STAYING LONGER THAN YOU SHOULD — that's the whole disease, baby.
So here are the three rules I'm learning out loud, in front of everybody:
ONE. If a person can't like your post but they're always the FIRST one in the views — let them go. They're watching you like TV, not supporting you like family. Viewing is not love.
TWO. If you share your projects — the thing you poured your HEART into — and the first thing out of their mouth is some negative shit... let them go. Not every opinion deserves a seat, and the ones who lead with negativity on your grind don't get front row to the next one.
THREE. If they support everybody else but not you — let them go. They HAVE the ability. They show you who they cheer for every single day. You just weren't on the list — and that's the answer you needed.
And here's the part nobody says out loud: letting go doesn't always mean they're evil and you're the victim. The clip says it — we grow, we evolve, we outgrow things. Sometimes the friendship just expired and nobody's the villain. But the REST? The watch-every-story-never-like, hate-on-your-hustle, cheer-for-everybody-but-you kind? That's not history, that's a habit. Release it.
Press play on the clip, take your breath, and ask yourself the hard question: am I holding on to the HISTORY or to the PERSON? Because a person who really supports you never makes you ask.
I love you. Mean it.
