Chyyy... the Chris Brown custody situation just went from paperwork to PROBLEM, and baby, this time the receipts are FILED.

THE STORY. Per TMZ, Diamond Brown — the mother of Chris Brown's 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani — just filed court documents saying that Chris gets extremely angry whenever she dates other men, and that he has issued DEATH THREATS against her most recent boyfriend... AND the boyfriend's twin brother. She also claims he used third parties to deliver some of those threats.

SHE SAYS SHE'S BEEN TRYING TO HANDLE THIS QUIETLY. Per the reports, Diamond says she's been trying to resolve things through lawyers since MARCH and Chris has never responded. She also claims he confronted her inappropriately at their daughter's own birthday party, and that he's harassed her on social media. And here's the part that says everything: she's considered filing for a domestic violence restraining order — but right now, she is not seeking one. Sit with that.

THE MONEY PART. All of this is sitting on top of the child support and custody case SHE opened back in May. Per TMZ, Diamond says she brings home about $1,500 a month — she's an influencer and an esthetician — and claims Chris refuses to pay sufficient support or turn over the financial documents the case needs. She's asking the court for primary custody of their daughter. Chris, per the filing, wants joint legal and physical custody.

HIS SIDE. Per the reports, Chris Brown's legal team is denying all of it — they're calling the allegations unfounded and asking Diamond's team to put specifics on the table so they can respond.

AND SEPARATELY, BECAUSE HE'S HAVING A WEEK. Per Yahoo's report, a judge just opened the door to a new trial on damages in that $12.9 million dog-mauling verdict — IF the plaintiff turns down a reduced $9.5 million award. So either way, the courtroom content keeps coming.

THE FINE PRINT. These are ALLEGATIONS in a custody war — Diamond's claims filed in court documents, not court findings. Nobody has been charged with anything over the threats, and Chris Brown denies everything through his lawyers. Custody filings are war paperwork, and both sides are fighting for something. We'll report what a judge actually says — until then, both things are true at once: she filed it, and he denies it.

Glowgetters, the group chat is OPEN at the bottom of this page: is Diamond doing the most, or doing what she had to do? Come argue with me.

Developing — we're watching the custody case.

Morgan's verdict

"A baby girl is at the center of this and she's FOUR. Whatever the grown folks are doing, do it in a courtroom — not at a birthday party, not on the internet, and definitely not through third parties."
